Final day of Thakek Loop. On our way back from Thong Lor cave we decided to break the journey back to town with a visit to the Blue Lagoon. There was conflicting information on the internets about how easy it was to reach this mythical swimming hole. We persevered and were rewarded with emerald, crystal clear water, and some friendly locals who invited us for a swim. Normally foreigners – falang – must seek permission from the village elders to swim in the holy stream.
