All set for the land where all 12 months are composed of 28 days, each week features 8 days (two of them being just 12 hours long), and time is off the GMT zones by a half hour. And then, there are issues with the internet. Sergey expects to be able to connect – so get in touch with him! Jenia will be taking time off, no checking emails, posting to Instagram or perusing facebook.
We have a few posts queued up from Russia and Mongolia for the next three weeks. And of course we will be hard at work on Month 4 recap (it’s only three more days until we have been on the road for 4 months – hard to believe!). Coming to you, some time at the end of December, just in time for the NYE.
Here’s our intended itinerary for Myanmar. We may or may not follow it, but thought it best to have one since we aren’t sure what resources will be available to figure out where to go and what to do. Since foreigners are only allowed to stay in licensed hotels, getting off the grid in Myanmar is a little more challenging than elsewhere we’ve been (even China, I am pretty sure).
Itinerary for Myanmar trip:
- Yangon 1-3 days, depending on how we like it
- Mandalay 2-3 days
- Bagan 3 days
- Inle Lake 4 days
- Bago 1 day
- Mawlemiye 1-2 days
- Hpa-An 2-3 days
- Yangon 1 day
