There is an incredible culture of “hidden” indie cafes in Saigon. These cafe establishments look like they were transplanted from Brooklyn, but in a cool twist they are actually impossible to find unless you know the exact address and directions — which usually go something like this: walk into an alley off street y, pass through house’s x yard (be careful not to disturb the neighbors), and voila. Or like Things cafe filmed in this video, located in an old french apartment building with no signage on the street.
